Description:
During a violent gunfight, Himuro, an assistant to the head of the Kyowakai, and Tamura kill Fukumoto, the chairman of the West Japan Mutsumikai. Himuro’s nephew is killed defending him, deeply affecting Himuro. Kudo resigns after taking blame for a plot involving Zaizen's assassination. Following the absorption of the West Japan Mutsumikai, the Kyowakai enters a new phase under its third chairman, Kawatani. In the east, Takishima steps down as chairman of the Marugami-kai, and Mita becomes the new second chairman, solidifying the Kyowakai and Marugami-kai as the two leading organizations. Munakata, assistant to the Marugami-kai chairman, is released from prison and reconnects with Kawatani and Himuro, reminiscing about their history. As the Kyowakai reorganizes, Kawatani delivers a startling message to Himuro.
