My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU (2013 – 2020)

Hachiman Hikigaya sees right through the rosy picture everyone paints of high school – he’s convinced it's all an act. A cynical and observant student, he approaches life with a detached skepticism, believing genuine joy is just a carefully constructed illusion. As punishment for a particularly biting essay critiquing modern social interactions, Hachiman finds himself reluctantly drafted into the Volunteer Service Club. This isn’t exactly the fun assignment he was hoping for; the club's mission to assist students facing challenges places him squarely in the middle of other people's dramas. Stuck with the aloof and strikingly beautiful Yukino Yukinoshita as his only fellow member, Hachiman is thrown headfirst into a world of unexpected requests and complex situations. Can his jaded perspective actually be an asset, or will it ultimately hold him back as he and Yukino navigate the problems of their classmates?

The Volunteer Service Club—composed of the cynical Hachiman Hikigaya, the relentlessly optimistic Yui Yuigahama, and the fiercely competitive Yukino Yukinoshita—are back, picking up exactly where their first year left off. They continue their mission to assist any student struggling with personal challenges, navigating the complexities of high school life together. The tangled web of feelings between Hachiman, Yukino, and Yui continues to complicate things, and this season finds them facing a new challenge: organizing the school prom.
