Wyoming BDR (2022)

The Wyoming Backcountry Discovery Route is a multi-day off-road motorcycle journey through Wyoming's most stunning and challenging landscapes. Starting in Baggs, Wyoming, the route follows mountain ranges east to the Sierra Madre and Medicine Bow Mountains, then west to the Wind River Range, before returning east and north through the Bighorn Mountains, concluding at the Wyoming-Montana border. Nearly every section features moderately difficult riding along remote two-track trails that wind through high desert, prairie, and alpine environments. Riders will enjoy panoramic views from summits over two 11,000-foot mountains, cross significant cliffs, and explore remote areas and historic mining towns. This is a remote adventure, requiring careful planning and preparation for a true backcountry experience.
