The Idaho Backcountry Discovery Ride (IDBDR) is a 1,300-mile motorcycle journey from Jarbidge, Nevada, to the Canadian border, designed for dual-sport and adventure riders eager to explore Idaho's remote wilderness. The route primarily follows dirt roads, traversing mountains to reach secluded viewpoints, hot springs, historic mining towns, cemeteries, and challenging areas like the Magruder Corridor and Lolo Motoway. This documentary details the planning and first ride of the IDBDR, following a group of riders on motorcycles like BMW R1200GS, F800 GS, and KTM 990 Adventure as they undertake this extensive adventure.
