Washington BDR (2011)

The Washington Backcountry Discovery Route (WABDR) is a scenic 600-mile journey through Washington State, connecting Oregon to Canada via the Cascade Mountains. The route primarily uses unpaved back roads suitable for dual-sport motorcycles and 4x4 vehicles. Typically snow-free from July to September, it was the winning proposal for the 2010 Overland Flag Competition. Bryce Stevens and Andrew Cull, two Northwest adventure motorcyclists, embarked on scouting and mapping the route in the spring of 2010, bringing their vision of an off-road passage across Washington State to life.
