Bazaar Bizarre: The Strange Case of Serial Killer Bob Berdella (2004)

In 1988, Chris Bryson was discovered naked, beaten, and bloody on a Kansas City street, wearing only a dog collar and leash. He recounted to police how local businessman Bob Berdella abducted him, held him captive, repeatedly raped and tortured him, and took photographs over several days. Berdella was arrested, and a search of his home revealed hundreds of Polaroid photographs, a detailed torture log, envelopes containing human teeth, and a human skull. Authorities later learned Berdella murdered six young men by drugging them and subjecting them to sexual torture. Some victims endured the horrors for only days, others for six weeks. After death, Berdella dismembered the bodies with an electric chainsaw and bone knife, storing the remains in dog food bags for trash collection. Though he denied it, it is believed Berdella used the victims' organs as food in his shop.
