Gabrielle, a local landmark, is a source of embarrassment for her teenage son. Elsa, consumed by bitterness, desperately wants to have a child. Mao, a video game designer battling chronic depression, numbs his sadness with alcohol and therapy. These siblings rarely interact. Their parents, Pierre and Claudine, have a strained relationship and haven't fostered family closeness. However, at their grandfather's funeral, they must finally come together to decide what to do with their grandmother.
