Description:
From Antwerp comes the story of Titurel, a knight who has constructed a fortress to house two sacred relics: the chalice from the Last Supper, where Christ's blood was said to be collected, and the spear that pierced Christ during his crucifixion. The chalice is believed to be the Holy Grail, possessing life-giving and purifying powers. A community of knights, empowered by the Grail, dedicates themselves to defending their faith. They have all taken a vow of chastity. But their leader, Amfortas, Titurel’s son and the Grail King, struggles to resist the allure of Kundry, a woman with a mysterious past who serves as both a messenger of the Grail and a temptress for Klingsor.
