Description:

Leopold Kohák, now older and feeling overshadowed by his vibrant wife, finds himself increasingly burdened by regret. He's haunted by his past, particularly the memory of leaving his first love, Emča, and his cherished childhood river, the Sázava. A visit from an old friend stirs up these painful memories. Instead of a planned spa trip, Leopold experiences a nervous breakdown and secretly returns to his childhood home. There, a chance encounter with a wandering tramp leads him to believe that bathing in the Sázava's waters might restore his lost vitality, and slowly, he begins to feel younger again.
