Description:
"Soul Skaters," a group of friends led by Andy "Brink" Brinker, skate for the love of it. Brink, Peter, Jordy, and Gabriella balance high school with their rivals, Team X-Bladz, captained by Val, who lives the sponsored skater life. Brink's family struggles with this lifestyle due to financial hardship. Brink joins Team X-Bladz to help his family, but balancing the authentic skating of Soul Skaters with the professional demands of Team X-Bladz creates conflict. Set in Southern California, the film examines loyalty, identity, and sportsmanship. It asks whether skating for fun or for profit truly matters, while exploring the challenges of friendship and family expectations.
