Description:
Bazarbai, a twelve-year-old Nomad boy, yearns for the city life of Ulan Bator, a stark contrast to his family's traditional pastures. His father hopes he will instead follow in the footsteps of a renowned eagle hunter. When his brother, Khan, is sent to Ulan Bator, Bazarbai feels deeply rejected, believing he should have been chosen. His father tries to lift his spirits with a trip to the annual Eagle Festival, but Bazarbai remains heartbroken.
