Description:
An Australian Bishop arrives in Perry, requesting help with a 22-year-old manslaughter case. The case centers on the wealthy Mr. Brownley and suspicions that his alleged granddaughter might not be who she claims to be. Shortly after the Bishop departs, he is attacked in his hotel room. Perry then meets Ida Gilbert, the woman at the heart of the case, as she departs on a boat. Perry attempts to speak with Mr. Brownley but finds no answers. Later that night, Brownley is shot by a woman who leaves behind Ida's gun, leading to Ida's arrest for his murder and drawing Perry into the investigation.
