Description:
In a quiet Japanese town, young Shu sees the world differently – he’s full of energy and has a unique perspective. His life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Lala-Ru, a girl with striking eyes on a smokestack. This chance meeting throws him into a harsh desert world ravaged by war. There, Shu witnesses terrible things: genocide, torture, and the abuse of children. He struggles to stay true to himself while trying to survive in this dangerous place. With Lala-Ru’s safety at risk and a powerful dictator named Hamdo in control, Shu must team up with new friends – each with their own stories – to navigate the conflict. As the war intensifies, Shu is forced to confront not only the brutality of war but also his own strength of character.
