Description:
Agawa Kayo, a young woman carrying the weight of past trauma, works at a convenience store. An incident stirs up painful memories, leading her to volunteer as a probation officer – a role usually held by government employees, offering support to juvenile offenders and criminals with no pay, just the satisfaction of public service. After training, Kayo's first assignment is Saito Midori, a middle-aged accessory shop owner with a history of violence and a two-year sentence for extortion and assault. Guided by her mentor, Takamatsu Naoharu, Kayo undertakes a difficult mission to help Midori overcome life’s challenges and rebuild her life. Through shared experiences and understanding, the two women confront their inner struggles and find strength in each other, forging an unexpected bond.
