"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" is a reality show that gives incredible home makeovers to families facing hardship or schools needing help. Hosted by Ty Pennington, a carpenter and TV personality, the show aims to bring hope through amazing renovations. Every episode tells a moving story of a family dealing with difficult times – like natural disasters or serious illnesses. To help, the show works with local builders and construction companies to completely transform their home. This includes fixing up the inside and outside, even the landscaping, all in just one week while the family is away. If the house is too damaged, they often build a brand new one.
