Description:
"Good Times Begins" centers on Arnold and Willis Jackson, two young African American boys from Harlem, who unexpectedly become part of the lives of Phillip Drummond, a wealthy Park Avenue businessman, and his daughter Kimberly after their mother's death. Their mother had previously worked as a housekeeper for the Drummond family. The series explores the complexities of two very different families coming together, showcasing the difficulties they encounter and the strong relationships that develop. Charlotte Rae plays Mrs. Garrett, the Drummonds’ housekeeper, adding a comforting presence as the families navigate their new dynamic.
