Fresh from defeating Vandal Savage, the team now carries the weighty responsibility of safeguarding all of time – past, present, and future – embarking on perilous journeys through history to face an unprecedented danger unlike anything humanity has ever encountered.

Season three of DC's Legends of Tomorrow plunges the team into a crisis entirely of their own making. Their meddling with past events last season has fractured the timeline, unleashing chaotic anomalies across history – anachronisms that threaten to unravel reality itself. Now, they’re on a desperate mission to repair the damage and restore order to time. But just as they're gearing up for action, Rip Hunter and his newly formed Time Bureau step in, questioning their approach and effectively disbanding the team. Refusing to back down, the Legends forge ahead, recruiting future hacker Zari Tomaz to their cause. They’ll continue their unpredictable adventures, determined to prove that some problems are simply too complex – too *legendary* – for bureaucratic solutions.

Season four throws the Legends into disarray as they navigate a complicated relationship with the newly formed Time Bureau. Just when things seem stable, a cryptic warning from Constantine pulls Sara and her crew into a dangerous, unforeseen realm – one steeped in magic and culminating in a chaotic showdown at the legendary Woodstock festival.

Season five finds the Legends grappling with unsettling shifts in reality – both around them and within their own team dynamic. Fresh off a devastating defeat, they’re forced to confront the chaotic fallout as Astra unleashes a wave of “encores”: echoes of history's most notorious villains, resurrected and wreaking havoc across time. As they race to contain these dangerous reappearances, the Legends must also navigate personal transformations and reckon with how their past actions continue to reshape the present – a challenge that tests their bonds and forces them to question everything they thought they knew about themselves and their mission.

In season six, Waverider co-captains Sara Lance and Ava Sharpe have dealt with monsters, time anomalies, and most recently, villains from Hell, but this time they will face something even more challenging and bizarre ... space aliens! After one of their own is abducted by a ruthless alien, this new mission becomes personal. It will take more than the combined powers of John Constantine, Mick Rory, Nate Heywood, and brother-sister duo, Zari and Behrad Tarazi, to save the world for a sixth time.

Season seven throws the Legends into chaos when their ship is obliterated by an unexpected doppelganger, stranding them in 1925 Odessa, Texas. Desperate to return home and uncover the identity of this shadowy attacker, they embark on a quest for Dr. Gwyn Davies, the pioneering Welsh inventor who laid the groundwork for time travel itself – now located in New York City. But their mission takes an even stranger turn with the arrival of a startling new ally: a living, breathing version of Gideon, whose intimate understanding of the timeline might just be the key to untangling the Legends’ increasingly complicated predicament.
