Description:
Set in spring 1944, just before the Battle of the Bulge, this emotionally intense film follows the escalating tensions along the German-Belgian border. German soldiers are stationed near the American-occupied village of Winterspelt. As war approaches, a German officer plans to surrender his battalion to the Americans peacefully.
