"Under the Roofs" is a moving miniseries that blends real stories with fictional filmmaking to explore the housing crisis. It follows three people: Isabel, who grew up in a Catholic Church-run foster home; Josefi, Juan, and Chari, who were victims of unfair mortgage practices and evictions; and Marc, a young person living in a self-managed squat on bank-owned property. Their stories intertwine, blurring the line between fact and fiction, to offer a compassionate look at today's housing problems.
