After leaving a psychiatric hospital, Jacob tries to rebuild his life in Edinburgh. He's working to manage his schizophrenia, contribute to society, and stay on track with his medication and journaling. His relationship with his father remains distant. Feeling unfulfilled by his routine, and with his psychiatrist's encouragement, Jacob journeys to the Scottish Highlands in search of something more. There, by the sea, he meets Eva, a captivating woman who claims to be Ingmar Bergman's daughter and is on a mission. Together, Jacob and Eva begin a series of adventures.
