Description:
Mexico City, mid-1990s. When their parents vanish, five young siblings are left with their grandmother and struggle to cope. As they try to survive, the boundary between what's real and something unsettling begins to fade. The grandmother grows increasingly withdrawn, plagued by disturbing visions and mounting fear, while the children's perception of reality weakens. Following a conflict with neighbors, the siblings retreat into isolation, shutting themselves off from everyone else.
