Description:
Murni dreams of being a ronggeng dancer, but she questions the tradition of serving men. With the help of her classmate, Pandu, she fabricates a story that she has opened a "kelambu" (a traditional house of pleasure) with him. However, the deception unravels when Murni rejects advances from other men, leading the community to accuse her of disrespect and scorn her. As a result, Pandu is expelled, and both are ostracized for supposedly opposing their culture. Ultimately, they are forced to part ways.
