In 2020, Chinatown faced significant challenges with business closures and a rise in hate crimes targeting community members. Despite this, the community remained resilient, and artist Henry Chang continued his work. A lifelong resident of Mott Street and a respected member of Chinatown's "OG crew," Henry is deeply loved by his community. The film is infused with the influence of Corky Lee, a legendary Asian-American photographer and Henry's friend of over fifty years, who passed away from Covid. As Chinatown moves from the Year of the Rat to the Year of the Ox, Henry, the unofficial leader of the community, guides us through his life and art.
