Description:
Kasia (Klaudyna Lewczuk), a dance student, lives with her mother (Ewa Kasprzyk) in a spacious apartment. Her mother rents a room to a student from a sports school. Kasia and the lodger develop a unique friendship, communicating without words and avoiding meetings. The film, based on Bogna Hołyńska's story "Fresh paint," explores the Sixth Commandment – "You shall not commit adultery" – as part of a film cycle created for the project "Dekalog 89+." Marcin Bortkiewicz is one of ten young directors tackling how the Decalogue Commandments affect young people, a project launched on the 20th anniversary of Krzysztof Kieślowski's renowned "Decalogue."
