Description:

In an African game reserve, Askari, a vengeful elephant and the sole survivor of his family group's slaughter during a government cull, has become a rogue threat. The cull was orchestrated by Patrick Khumalo, a corrupt government official, and Ribshaw, a ruthless white poacher, aided by Ndhlovu, an African tracker forced to work for Ribshaw under blackmail. Game warden Joss McKinley and his conservationist wife Paula strive to protect the elephants, with Paula studying several elephant families. When Paula's niece, Emma Crawshay, is orphaned, she moves in with them at Morena Game Park. Initially feeling isolated, Emma becomes increasingly involved in her aunt's work, particularly drawn to the 'O' family, especially a young calf named Ollie.
