Description:
In New South Wales, Jared enjoys surfing with his friends and has his first romantic experience. He throws a beach party for his friend Ricko and witnesses four of their companions gang-rape a 15-year-old girl. He remains silent, and the following day, she is murdered. At school, the girls express anger towards the attackers, while the boys mock the victim's character. The students’ parents also react strongly. Jared withdraws into angry silence, consumed by guilt over his inaction. Simultaneously, his mother prepares for cancer surgery, the police press him for information about the assault, and Ricko seeks an alibi. Jared is overwhelmed by the mounting pressure.
