Description:
Gaston Vandermeerssche is a resourceful young man in the Belgian resistance during World War II. He guides Allied pilots through occupied Belgium and France to Spain, enabling them to return to England. Each mission is perilous, complicated by the pilots' limited knowledge of the local languages and customs, increasing the danger of evading Nazi troops and Gestapo agents. Following a logistical error in London, Gaston himself is captured by the secret police and subjected to brutal interrogation.
