This film explores the persistent phenomenon of people chanting "Atlaist Saeimu!" (Sack the parliament!) in Latvia, examining the recurring efforts to dissolve the country's parliament through referendums or protests. Despite infrequent mainstream attention, individuals consistently gather signatures and voice their opposition outside the parliament building. While Latvian governments frequently change, the parliament has only been dissolved constitutionally once, in 2010 (it was dissolved unconstitutionally in 1934). However, the parliament building in Old Riga was attacked in a rare violent protest in 2009, leading to the collapse of the government. The documentary weaves together portraits of various individuals and political groups who have advocated for dissolving the parliament, each with their own motivations.
