Description:
Three interconnected stories unfold among the Jahalin Bedouin people in the Judean desert hills. Two Israeli truckers accidentally strike a young Bedouin boy on a deserted road, and are surrounded by his community before they can escape. Elsewhere, elders in a tent deny a woman's request for divorce and to leave with her daughters, prompting her to flee with them at night, pursued by her husband. A Bedouin maid working for an Israeli farmer is caught in an affair and, fearing for her life, seeks refuge with her lover. He refuses her and enlists a Bedouin farmhand to help get rid of her. What form will tribal justice take?
