寒武紀 (2011)

After the death of their father, Wu Xiaoying reluctantly goes to live with her mother, Bai Yuzhen, following his last wishes. Twenty years of separation create a strained relationship filled with conflict and distrust. Bai Yuzhen has inherited her father's thriving gardening company and enjoys a comfortable life of independence, a world that is foreign to Wu Xiaoying, who grew up in poverty. However, Wu Xiaoying doesn't seek reconciliation; she's unaware of a faint hope within herself. She's simply puzzled by her mother's apparent lack of affection for her father and for her.
