Montréal-Nord is a neighborhood facing significant challenges, marked by issues like drug use, poverty, crime, and despair. Director Magnus Isacsson spent 18 months documenting the lives of four young men – Danny, Alex, Mickerson, and Michael, aged 17 to 22 – who live there. Music, particularly hip-hop, is a vital part of their lives, serving as a way to deal with their struggles.
