Description:
Two men, one from New Zealand and one from Ireland, leave their jobs, use their savings, and hike 2,626 miles from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail – one of the most difficult trails globally. Their journey takes them through stunning landscapes across North America: California deserts, the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Cascades, and the forests of Oregon and Washington. Maintaining a demanding pace of 21 miles daily for four and a half months, they race against winter storms to reach the Canadian border. The intense experience leads one hiker to abandon the journey just 60 miles from the end.
