Description:
In the summer of 2015, Janae Marie Kroczaleski, a former US Marine and world record weightlifter, was publicly identified as transgender. This led to widespread consequences: she lost her sponsors, her parents disowned her, and she was barred from competing. The film follows Janae's struggle to find acceptance. Initially desiring a smaller physique, she struggles to lose the muscle she gained. Now, she experiences fluctuating physical appearances, shifting between masculine and feminine presentations. Can Janae cope with these physical changes? Will her transition bring her peace? Can society accept a muscular woman weighing 250 pounds? Is her journey toward redemption or a path to devastation?
