Description:
After his father's death, Yoshito was raised by his mother Yasue, who ran the yakiniku restaurant he inherited. They enjoyed a close life, and the restaurant was popular. However, the restaurant's business plummeted after false reviews by a food critic damaged its reputation. To revive the restaurant, Yasue worked tirelessly. But due to Yoshito’s need for attention, she made the difficult decision to close it down. Eighteen years later, Yoshito lives alone as a freelance writer and takes a job with a new online food website, working alongside editor Takenaka Shizuka on a yakiniku assignment. Around the same time, he learns that Yasue has collapsed.
