Description:
In the peaceful town of Husum, Hans Wolgast is executed by a single gunshot, accompanied by Mozart's Magic Flute. Inspector Anton Glauberg, Wolgast’s half-brother, immediately suspects a connection to their shared history as Wolgast was a former member of the Red Army Faction (RAF). Glauberg begins an investigation with the help of Paula Reinhardt, a young BKA officer. He keeps his connection to Wolgast secret as they trace leads to Berlin and the remaining members of the RAF. They discover Wolgast lived there and, like others, fled to East Germany in the 1980s. A former roommate of Hans Veith Seewald draws a comparison between Glauberg's situation and a 1978 murder case.
