Description:

For 23 years, Helena Třeštíková documented the life of actor and director Jakub Špalek. The initial footage was captured in Autumn 1989, when Jakub, a student at the theatre academy, was deeply involved in the Velvet Revolution. He then pursued his dream of establishing his own theatre company, which he still leads at Kašpar Theatre in Prague. The film chronicles the challenges of his career as an independent theatre manager, alongside his personal triumphs and hardships.
