On Adamson's sets, familiar names from the Orson Welles crew, including cinematographers Gary Graver, Vilmos Szigmond, and Lazlo Kovaks, worked alongside Bud Cardos – and even Charles Manson at one point! Director David Gregory spent years crafting this film, speaking with everyone from the police who investigated Adamson's murder to those who knew him, capturing both a remarkable life and a tragic end, filled with eccentric characters like alien conspiracy theorists, go-go dancers, and Colonel Sanders.
