Description:
Maria, a young wife and mother working as a part-time beautician in the working-class suburbs of Naples, has grown accustomed to the constant struggle to survive. Her life takes an unexpected turn when her husband is diagnosed with a terminal illness, and she accepts help from Gennaro, a wealthy car dealership owner. He begins courting her, and they become lovers. Gennaro then proposes a dangerous opportunity: transporting cocaine to Switzerland as a business venture. After her husband's death, Maria becomes entangled in a criminal world with Gennaro, finding new possibilities and pursuing long-held desires. However, her path of revenge will have devastating consequences for those around her, mirroring the unseen casualties of any prolonged conflict.
