Description:
Set in the harsh reality of African ghettos, *Bronx-Barbes* introduces Toussaint and Nixon, two unemployed teenagers who resort to petty theft for survival. After accidentally killing a gang leader, they are recruited by a group of tough individuals who control the Bronx, a neighborhood governed by a Mafia-like organization. Toussaint rises through the ranks, while Nixon is imprisoned for burglary, eventually being released thanks to Toussaint's efforts to raise the money for his freedom. The friends then relocate to Barbes, an even more dangerous neighborhood where they discover friendship isn't enough to survive.
