"Aja" was Steely Dan's most successful album, and the first to be created by Donald Fagen and Walter Becker as a duo. Fagen and Becker look back on the album's creation, including the stories behind the songs "Peg," "Deacon Blues," and "Josie." Guest vocals were provided by Michael McDonald, who later joined the Doobie Brothers. The late British musician Ian Dury, producer Gary Katz, and the talented session musicians who contributed to "Aja" also share their memories. This film offers a vivid look at a 1970s record that remains as captivating and unforgettable today as it was over twenty years ago.
