Full or Empty (2005)

Navid, a seventeen-year-old from a rural village, journeys to a bustling port city seeking a teaching position in Persian literature. While he takes on various odd jobs and awaits news from the Education Center, he develops feelings for a young woman he feels he encountered in a dream. A series of unforeseen circumstances, including a brief imprisonment, leads him to lose the teaching opportunity to her. Disheartened, Navid departs the city by boat, where he encounters another young woman he is certain is the same person from his dreams.
