Description:
This concert film captures two performances from The Rolling Stones' 1972 North American tour, specifically their Exile on Main Street tour in Texas. The band plays 15 songs, including five from the album "Exile on Main Street," on a small stage with three additional musicians. For much of the film, the band is silhouetted against a black background; the camera primarily focuses on Mick Jagger, with occasional shots of Mick Taylor. Keith Richards appears during duets and for guitar work on the final two songs. The setlist features hard rock like "All Down the Line," blues standards such as "Love in Vain" and "Midnight Rambler," a tribute to Chuck Berry with "Bye Bye Johnny," but notably excludes "Satisfaction." It's a continuous musical experience from beginning to end.
