Description:
In 1968, a pair of concerts featuring The Rolling Stones and many other famous artists of the time created a significant musical event. The film captures the energy of this occasion, held on a uniquely designed stage meant to reflect the era's freedom and creativity. Besides The Rolling Stones' performances, the audience saw sets by The Who, playing their recognizable rock music; Taj Mahal, performing soulful blues; Marianne Faithfull, singing classic ballads; and Jethro Tull, presenting complex progressive rock. Musicians collaborated further, forming a supergroup called The Dirty Mac. Featuring John Lennon, Yoko Ono, Eric Clapton, Mitch Mitchell, and Keith Richards, this group delivered a memorable performance blending their individual styles in a way unique to 1968.
