The film centers on a village where a lack of toilets and discriminatory rules about toilet access for men and women create hardship. Uganti struggles under these conditions, and her husband, Shambhu, is powerless to help due to the village's rigid laws. Ultimately, Uganti finds her own solution, but it comes at the cost of severe public humiliation. Shambhu, witnessing her suffering, defies societal norms to assist her. The story critiques societal policies built on double standards and the dehumanization of women.
