This documentary follows Paul McCartney's 1990 World Tour, detailing the extensive planning involved and featuring live performances alongside interviews with Paul, Hamish, Wix, and other crew members. The film opens with the concert at Brazil's Maracana Stadium on April 21st, 1990. Two days prior, heavy rain threatened to cancel the show. The downpour made setting up the stage incredibly difficult, and a previous date had already been called off due to the weather. However, miraculously, the rain stopped just as Paul and his band took the stage. The concert went ahead, drawing 184,000 people and setting a new world record for the largest rock and roll show ever held.
