Description:
"I Was There…When the Beatles Played The Cavern" chronicles the history of the Cavern Club, the legendary venue closely associated with The Beatles. The film features rare archival footage from the 1960s, including a performance of "Some Other Guy." On February 9, 1961, the band played their first of nearly 300 shows at the Cavern, having just returned from Hamburg. By the time they played their final concert there, Beatlemania had taken Britain by storm and the band was gaining international fame.
