Description:
Raymond Rudford, a sculptor, stands accused of murdering his uncle, who raised him after his parents died. The prosecution argues Raymond killed his uncle out of fear of being disinherited if he married Alicia Atherton, despite his uncle's disapproval. They present extensive evidence: a razor recovered from the estate's lake, bearing Raymond's fingerprints and footprints at the crime scene; blood-stained shoes found in his closet; and a bloody handkerchief discovered under his uncle's deathbed. Raymond’s only defense is a severe phobia of blood, stemming from a childhood trauma when his dog was injured, which he claims would have prevented him from committing the crime.
