Description:
In the 1840s, Dora and her family are rescued from an Indian attack by a Mormon community heading west to Utah, and they join their wagon train. Dora finds herself pursued by two men: a recent convert and a powerful elder with multiple wives who desires her for his own harem. When Dora's mother takes her own life in disgust at the practice of polygamy, Dora must decide her future and the fate of the man she loves. One of Mae Murray's few remaining films, it was originally meant to explore both the positive and negative aspects of Mormonism, but is now largely viewed as biased against the religion.
