Tae-joon (Lee Sang-hoon) and Seo-yeon (Park Min-kyeong) leave city life behind for a peaceful countryside, where Tae-joon struggles with farming and a lack of fruit harvests. Stressed, he blames the soil, so Seo-yeon suggests they start a shared living arrangement. They invite Hwai (Lee Ja-eun), a novelist who has a past with Tae-joon – a past affair that left her with lingering feelings. Hwai moves into the house, once shared by Tae-joon and Seo-yeon, and begins to unsettle Tae-joon. She manipulates him by targeting Seo-yeon's carpentry teacher, Jae-rim (Kim Seon-hyeok), and creates conflict, challenging Seo-yeon as she fights to protect her home and family.
