Description:
This Category III period drama depicts power struggles and illicit affairs within the imperial palace. While ambitious, the plot suffers from significant gaps. The story follows Ru Yee, who seeks a position as a nursemaid to the Emperor's son. With assistance from Wei (Tan Lap-Man), she gains access to the palace, where she becomes the nursemaid and he serves as a eunuch in training. Wei also murders Ru Yee’s husband and child, though this event is only briefly addressed later in the film.
